This summer, Burberry brings its collections to life through immersive, bespoke experiences at luxury hotels across the globe.
Rooted in a heritage of exploration and a long-standing affinity with the outdoors, each destination combines British identity with its local surroundings – from the Aegean coast to the French Riviera and the heart of Bangkok.
Along the French Riviera, Burberry partners with Hôtel Belles Rives, bringing its signature charm to the hotel’s beach club and terraces for a memorable summer getaway, A historic summer playground, the hotel was once home to F.Scott Fitzgerald, where ‘The Great Gatsby’ author began writing his final novel, ‘Tender is the Night’ - in which the protagonist wears a Burberry coat.
Reinterpreting the hotel’s Art Deco glamour through a Burberry lens, the house refreshes its signature check in a distinctive blue of Hôtel Belles Rives. The pattern decorates interiors across the hotel, including the original 1920s lift. Custom logos also appear on the private jetty and on the doors of the beach club.
Burberry’s love of the outdoors has often taken the brand to the water’s edge. Founder Thomas Burberry always made the most of the weather and, in the first half of the 20th century, the house designed specialist yachting apparel and tailoring for those who spent time on or near the water. The High Summer 2026 collection includes a mix of check swimwear and coastal motifs, inspired by the brand’s history of adventure.
Guests can cool off with Burberry ice lollies on the famous terrace or soak up panoramic sunsets at The Fitzgerald Bar. Throughout the summer, visitors can also enjoy a programme of Burberry-branded experiences, including waterskiing – a sport said to have been born in the bay.
The takeover will be open until 20 September.
On the Athenian Riviera, Burberry partnered with One&Only Aesthesis to create an unmissable experience by the Aegean Sea. Set within a protected forest reserve, the resort captures the glamour and nostalgia of the golden era, where the spirit of the 1960s lives on.
The takeover reimagines the Burberry Check in a fresh colourway inspired by the turquoise waters, woven throughout the experience from the main pool and gardens to the tennis and padel courts.
Drawing on Burberry’s earliest archival reference to bathing suits and cruisewear in 1934, when the brand extended its ethos of innovative, functional design into water-related leisure. Guests are invited to explore the natural beauty of the resort in true Riviera style on custom buggies and bicycles or explore the coastline aboard branded boats - reflecting a shared belief in the outdoors as a source of adventure.
The hotel’s boutiques offer the High Summer 2026 collection alongside accessories and activewear. Holiday essentials include polo shirts, bikinis and the Margate bags, crafted in raffia hand-crocheted into the iconic Burberry House Check.
The takeover will be open until 31 October.
In Bangkok, Burberry transforms The Standard, set within the Mahanakhon building - one of the city’s most recognisable landmarks - into a British oasis for the season.
The signature House Check is reimagined in a custom yellow and appears throughout the hotel, from poolside cabanas and rooftop loungers on the roof to the photo booth in The Parlor.
Referencing Bangkok’s official colour, green is incorporated into the takeover identity, representing the vitality of the city and informing a programme of wellness-led experiences. Guests can relax by the pool with a curated Burberry menu, alongside ice lollies served from a bespoke cart.
The takeover launches with a celebration featuring a performance by a local artist, while friends of the brand explore the city on Burberry Check tuk-tuks – extending the experience beyond the hotel.
The High Summer and Summer 2026 collections are available at the hotel boutique.
The takeover will be open until 31 July.
