Burberry announces the latest collection created in partnership with Highgrove Gardens, which surround the private residence of King Charles III and Queen Camilla. Highgrove Gardens are managed by His Majesty’s flagship nature and sustainability charity, The King’s Foundation.
To mark the fifth creative collaboration, Burberry is honoured to feature a watercolour by His Majesty The King. Depicting Birkhall on the Balmoral Estate, the watercolour serves as the focal point for the collection’s prints and inspires its verdant colour palette.
Rooted in a shared appreciation for the British countryside, the Highgrove x Burberry capsule reimagines Burberry signatures, including the Waterloo trench coat, the Mayfair trench jacket, a car coat, a quilted jacket and an intarsia-knit sweater. Designs are enriched with the iconic House Check, refreshed in a bay green palette created exclusively for the collection and featured across outerwear, cashmere scarves, linings and silk accessories.
Signature Burberry trench and car coats are crafted in England from cotton gabardine and finished with detachable wool cashmere warmers. Layering options include a quilted jacket in lightweight nylon with corduroy trims, alongside a wool sweater intarsia-knitted with His Majesty’s artwork.
The House Check in seasonal bay green is woven into a Scottish-crafted cashmere scarf, as well as the cotton poplin linings and wool cashmere warmers featured throughout the outerwear. In silk, a printed scarf showcases the capsule’s artwork framed within the check.
The Highgrove x Burberry Collection honours a shared dedication to craftsmanship, with the main material and lining of the trench and car coats made in England from 100% organically grown cotton gabardine.
Burberry is a global luxury brand founded in Britain in 1856 by Thomas Burberry. Built on a heritage of innovation, craftsmanship and exploration, the house continues to create outerwear, ready-to-wear, accessories and experiences that celebrate British creativity and design.
The Highgrove x Burberry collection is inspired by Highgrove Gardens. The Gardens are under the custodianship of The King’s Foundation, the charity founded by His Majesty.
Highgrove Gardens cover around 15 acres and are beautifully landscaped with a variety of themed areas. Highgrove is renowned for its organic gardening principles and emphasis on sustainability, reflecting King Charles III’s long-standing interest in environmental conservation.
The Gardens are considered among the most inspiring and innovative in the United Kingdom and are now home to The King’s Foundation’s educational workshops, which teach young people traditional heritage skills.
